The circumstances that led Tom Northen, the founder of International Missionary Fellowship, to start in 1972 what would become Hospital Evangelique in Bombardopolis were directed by Providence. Today we serve a population of about 50,000 in a remote area of Northwest Haiti. Haiti is notoriously poor and unsettled. Challenges in Bombardopolis include practical as well as spiritual. We endeavor to show the love of God as we meet basic needs for these folks in Jesus' name. For forty years we have been the only consistent source of healthcare in the area.
