The Rescue Haiti Foundation is a non-profit organization, started in the hopes of strengthening the fragile healthcare system in Haiti. Through research, the foundation estimated that the healthcare system would be crippled by the year 2040 if improvements weren`t made. Unfortunately, on January 12th, 2010 the unthinkable happened, Haiti was devastated by an earthquake of great magnitude causing suffering to a nation that was already the western hemisphere`s poorest country.
The Rescue Haiti Foundation focuses on issues that require urgent action, such as, inadequate healthcare, social services, HIV/AIDS & infectious diseases.
