Vermont Haiti Project's (VHP) programs emphasize the creation of:
Self-sustainable business
Healthier living conditions
and Better educational opportunities for Haitians.
Our team of U.S.-based volunteers and board members are in constant communication with our Haitian partners to insure the successful progress of our programs.
In addition to project support in Haiti, our work also includes sponsoring programs for Haitian citizens to travel to the United States for professional development - and to share their stories from Haiti - as a way of educating US citizens on the the circumstances in Haiti.
Founded in 2007, Vermont Haiti Project is a 501(c)(3) charitable and tax exempt organization corporation with neither a political nor religiously motivated agenda. We are funded by donations and operated with mainly a Vermont-based crew volunteering their time to this effort.
