The central theories of charitable enterprise, and the implications of various management practices for nonprofit and nongovernmental organizations. The jurisdiction in Haiti is different from the international community; however, issues that are relevant for nonprofit managers and leaders faced with changing organizational environments are present. The course will introduce the significant aspects of nonprofits and voluntary organizations that distinguish them from public and private agencies; legal definitions/1989 decree; and more.
